Hello and thanks for checking out johnservo.com.  In August of 2008 I moved to Las Vegas to pursue my Master's Degree in Jazz Composition (UNLV).  I am a 2007 Berklee College of Music Graduate (Acoustic Bass, Jazz Performance).  The Daniel Bennett Group, The Phil Ayoub Band, The Boston Jazz Quarter, JK & The Servomatics, and The Elbow Room are a few of the Boston area bands that I recently played electric and/or acoustic bass in. 

As well as being a session player for The Bennett Alliance (Boston Based Production Company) I do freelance session work, pit work and private instruction on both electric and acoustic bass.  I also have extensive experience in writing, arranging, and transcribing for the above mentioned groups, aswell as other North Eastern musicians/artists.  At the bottom of the page you'll find a streaming player full of music from the above mentioned groups.  You can turn it on and off as you wish.  Don't forget to check out my myspace page.
